Dylan McDermott - Speaking Out

Dylan McDermott has a long history of playing lawyers in TV and movies. This specialty of his is making him perfect for shows like The Practice and Dark Blue. McDermott's career grew slowly but his first big gig was The Practice where he played a lawyer. A TNT movie, Dark Blue, saw him again playing a lawyer. This background in acting parts as a lawyer and his affiliation with Fordham University has made him a perfect candidate to speak out about the cross-section of law and the media. The Forum on Law, Culture & Society, a forum at Fordham University Law School, has invited him as a guest to lead conversations in law and popular culture.

Fordham Law School is a highly acclaimed school that is in the top ten in the nation. They have, in the last several years, sponsored the conversation on the law's portrayal in the media and the perception of the law in popular culture in connection to media. The Law School is interested in bringing together the public, the media, and the experts to better understand and observe the law in culture.
